not tryin to be a smart *ss but go back to the originals to cure the problem.
Maybe the circuit is sensitve to voltage and most likely the new LED bulbs are using more voltage thus causing the check light to go on.

Actually, the problem is that the LED's use so little current that the car believes the bulbs are bad. There are add on resistors available that increase the current draw to keep the electronics happy, but they can get hot enough to cause damage depending on how/where you mount them.
