The two trim pieces that run along the roof of my 2001 E55 are loose toward the rear glass. Does anyone have any experience removing and repairing these?

The roof strips are just held on with clips on the back side. I had my windshield replaced and the guy just popped them off. When he put them back on he got all of the clips lines up so that they fit tighter than they were before he took them off.
