Where do I find the engine builders signature?

Right there as you open the bonnet/hood, on the middle of the engine.

I must be missing something as I have removed all the AMG engine covers, changed both the air cleaners and the MAF sensor and yet to see a builders signature anywhere. I have seen some factory stickers on the intake maniford and the front of the engine block has something with bar coding on it and initials wrote on it but no builders signature.
Does anyone know where exactly the builders signature is supposed to be located on these E55 engines?

Bar coding with the builder initials and the stickers is all you get on the W210 E55. You're thinking of the "plaque" that is attached to the Kompressor motors. That didn't start happening until '03.
