Model Year Changes

I'm considering a E55 AMG, and would like some information.
1) what are the major changes year to year from 1999 to 2002?
2) Are there any common problems for those years that I should be aware of?

The 2000 model year got NEW (FACELIFT)Bumpers/Hood/Headlights/Mirrors with turn signals/Multifunction steering wheel with a new cluster
Comand was a Option / As was Vented front seats/

Go for the 2000/2002!

Problems Include
Front lower control arms
A/C evap temp sensor
cat converters
seat frames
brake light switch

Do a Dealer Pre Purchase..Run the Vin at the Dealer for ALL the History both Warranty and Service

obviously go for the newest model car with the least miles which is within your budget. and get it checked prior to buying.

Alot of these cars were thrashed around so look carefully and take your time, don't buy in haste.
