Ipromised I would post pics of the E55 with the GT3 wheels on it. Here are some pics. They are 19in GT3 wheels, staggared. What do you guys think? The pics are kinda bad and were taken on a rainy day but I will take better pics soon and post them to the gallery.
Please let me know what you all think. I love them!!

The wheels look good, the star in the grill makes it look cheap.
It looks like it is attached to the front of the stock grill too. Most people who put the aftermarket star grill put a flat badge on instead of the hood ornament as well. I have never liked the star grill on the E-Class because it looks cheap. [:(]

I was wondering about the grill. I was undecided about it also. I did get the flat hood emblem put in after I took that pic. That does make it look better. I will post a new pic of the front end in a day or two. And if I decide I don't like the grill, I can get rid of it pretty easily. Its not a very expensive part.
Also, does anyone know where I can get cross drilled rotors and AMG calipers? They would look great with the open design of the GT3 wheels. I am also going to lower the car with H&R which should also make the wheels stand out more.
I realize that the quality of SSR wheels is very good, but I think it makes your E55 look like a Lexus GS400. The tires, wheel size, offset, and staggered set are all great attributes that anyone would look for, but 3/4 view makes me think Lexus.
Grill looks sweet and the rims look sweet. Don't change a thing. Different strokes for different folks. I think Mercedes should have equipped the E55's with the sport grills from the factory!
