Hi guys!
I´m driving a Bmw now (528i-96) but the engine is a bit "weak"!So,I´m looking for something faster - like the AMG E50/E55 or the M5/Alpina B10 V8S.
Forget Audi,cause,I simply don´t like them.
My problem is 2 pick a car and it ain´t easy if you know what I mean?
HELP-PLEASE!

Welcome to this forum! Being a Benz fan, I would suggest the E50/55, because you can do more engine tuning than with the M5. The extreme Benzes are more extreme than the extreme BMW's, in my opinion. It costs more, but its worth it. Maybe if you want a mix of pros and cons, you could also ask some guys on an M5 forum for their ideas and compare. Good luck choosing.
I asked around and it seems that the Bmw-owners (almost all) suggested the Alpina B10V8S (17 out of 20 asked owners).Mostly-cause it has an automatic gearbox (steptronic) and it´s not as common as the M5...etc etc.But,I´m going for the E55 anyway.
Like the comfort in the MB - among other things!
Have another question:
The black tail lights,when did they occur for the first time on the W210-E55? 1999? Or-2000?
I dont know exactly, probably with the facelift, but you can smoke them out yourself for 16 bucks, apparently you only need spray, mask, and not much else, its really easy. The pre-facelift cars were actually E50's, with some E55's, but some 55's were made before the facelift.
