I was just informed that there is a new intake supercharger system coming out from High Performance Systems which will utilize an intercooler and the new larger 5th generation MP 112 eaton blower unit. This system may be available in as soon as 30 days. I have decided to carry their line of supercharger systems and will be performing installations at my S.F. bay area shop, starting with my own car which I will use to demo the new system. Power should be higher than any competing blower kit. Price and model info TBA. Anyone interested in this kind of craziness may feel free to contact me.

I was told the same from High Performance System. I'm going with them because 1st the PRICE!!! and 2nd its closer to shop, one in San Fran and in Santa Ana. I live South San Jose and I can take it directly to them 6 hrs drive to Santa Ana is not far for me. Right now i have the C280 and wanna trade it in this summer but i can't decide the S430 or the E500!!! but most i might go for the E500 cuz its faster.[:)] So im waiting for their new website within 30days also...

How much power are we talking about here? Any guesstimate? Crank HP? Whp?
Thanks!
Hey Jam...what's popin'
Adam had contacted me a few weeks back in regards to testing their updated system on his E430 and looking forward to it I might add...his guesstimates is an additional 135-150 crank HP.
I too was told that the new system will be putting out an extra 150hp. The stock W210 E55 makes 285hp at the wheels, a stock W211 E55 has around 400hp and the Kleemann W210 E55 makes between 411hp to 420hp based on the dyno charts I have seen. So adding 150 ponies to your stock 285hp gives you 435hp at the wheels, remember though that each car is different and your results will vary.
The prices and model info have not been released as of yet. I was under the impression that the new kit will be considerably less money than the Kleemann ($11,000) which is less than the Renntech ($15,900 to $37,800). The old kit made 370 to 380hp on a W210 E55 at the wheels with only 4 to 4.5psi of boost from the smaller MP 90 blower unit and no cooler. The new MP 112 blower makes more power per psi of boost than the old unit and will be running an intercooler which allows the boost to be safely raised to at least 7. Now unless the presure drop from the cooler is inordinately high, this new system should make much more power than the old one.
So by my math they may just have a system that will be the most affordable, have the highest hp gain, carry a 4 year warranty (the Kleemann kit is covered for only 1 year), and be made right here in Los Angeles, CA. I don't know about everyone else, but it sounds to me like they may just have a winner. Not that you could ever be considered a loser with any of these fine kits. It's going to be a good summer!
Is this new blower going to mount cleanly (replacing the stock intake manifold) or is it one of those tacky add-on's that sits to the side of the engine ?
The reason I like Kleemann (and the new 211 E55) is that their blowers look stock.
If H-P-S has a top mount system, they will sell a boatload of them to various model owners.
150HP its alot of HP. Im still deciding for the E500 or the S430. I like the space and looks on the S Class and so as the E500. Upgrading the S430 with the new MP 112 charger will have better performance than the stock E500 and S500. Well see what happens.

I was informed that the new system will replace the stock intake manifold to allow the supercharger to be mounted directly on top of the engine, similar to the factory W211 E55 system. This will allow boost to occur sooner, with a more linear power curve, and have less presure drop and audible rotor whine than the older kit. The new system should look less like a bolt-on and more like a factory installed engine piece.
As I'm in the process of getting the S430 soon, what I also like is that * say that "Eaton supercharger shows no fuel economy penalty for highway driving, but only 1mpg in the city". I guess driving normally. Im the type of individual that likes to add a few more ponies under the hood. but I would think its up to your driving conditions.
