Before my 2001 E55 I owned a 2003 C32 (and couldn't wait to get rid of it). RE your question, specs are the same comparatively. C32 is quicker. That said, the E55 is 40% more car. As fast with a much more satisfying engine. I personally couldn't stand the whine of the C32's supercharger. Nevertheless, that C32 was a little rocket.

I also think that without the limiter the E55 tops out at a higher speed.
