Fair price for '00, '01, '02 E55...

Interested in opinions on fair prices with command. I know someone who in interested in getting one in the coming months. Do you think the prices in Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds.com are fair? Thanks.

Are those sites authorized by M-B? You could also get a fancy one from Brabus or Lorinser or some company like that.

I just bought a 2002 E55 on 12/31/03 from a local MBZ dealer (Starmark classified used vehicle). Kelly/Edmund's pricing was about 5-8% high compared to DEALER price based on miles and condition.

For what it's worth....

Do you mind telling me more, color, options, mileage, condition, and price paid. Private email if you like, slangloi@ciena.com. Thanks.

I would guess a few thou, just off the bat. No more than $5k, no less than $500.

Check www.nada.com for full range of actual values, what like model cars have sold for nationally. Used in conjunction with kbb.com, you could probably figure out if you are getting ripped off or not. Obviously, you can always expect to pay at least a little more from a dealer or fancy aftermarket tuner than you would from a private party.
