'99 E55 vs. '00-01 E55

hello all...
besides the obvious body differences,
are performance statstics the same?
does the '99 E55 have problems the '00-01 E55 does not?

i sort of like the raw look of the '99 model better and it also less money to get than the '00-01 models...

any feedback would be great!

when i was looking eveyone told me to go with a 01. There are a lot of differences besides the bumper, mirrors, Dash, shifter, sonthing in the trans, seats, the list was very long.

Thye've changed more than 2000 things. At least that's what I read in MB. But I guess in terms of engine and suspension it is the same or very close. Why improve parfect thing....[:)]
