Hi all, I am new to the forums and a new Mercedes owner. I am wondering if anyone can point me to some URLs for buying some upgrades to my '96 E200? I am particularly interested in new wheels and a nice body kit - maybe just side skirts etc. I want to modernise it a little.
Also, how many additions of AMG stuff would be required before you think I could legitimately put an AMG logo on or should I not put one on at all even if I do add AMG stuff?
you would have to have a handbuilt amg motor and recalibrated suspension, along with the...
an E200... that seems like it would be a bit underpowered. but, i'm sure the taxes are alot easier on the wallet, although i would think fuel economy would suffer with more weight to pull around on a low=powered motor.
you would have to have a handbuilt amg motor and recalibrated suspension, along with the body kit and interior modifications. that would make your E200 into an AMG vehicle. don't put a badge on your car if you don't have that car. otherwise people will think AMG are slow as hell and you'll give the company a bad reputation.

Thanks for that. I will forget the AMG thing :)
The car goes very nicely and petrol seems to be no worse than our previous car which was a subaru.
