Anyone replace a timing chain on the V6? How durable are they? What are symptoms? How much and how difficult?

I would bring this type of fixing to a Mercedes Dealer or a specialist ,, to much work, and if you put in the timing chain incorrectly, you could be looking at a new head for the engine.

I'm not planning to do any of the work but I'd like to have some basis for determining if and when I'll need work. This V6 is so new that few dealers have done any engine repairs. What are some of the issues with this engine?
