What is the Bulb type on the fog light on 2000 E430 Sport

H7 or H1 or H3 ,, not sure and what is the watt rating on it?

have you looked in the manual? it should have all bulb listings. i'm sure it is an H3. seems to be most common on european and japanese vehicles.

My manuals for CLK55 and E430 list the fogs as H1 but are actually H3s. High Beams are H7s and I've swapped them for PIAA extreme whites.
(Both cars have Xenons)

I've talked to 4 other owners and they all said the same, spec'd as H1 but actually H3s.
