your just finding out about that? i don't see any problem with it. it means a high-quality chrysler. if someone still wants a benz, they will get it. i believe that if they can share a motor, it'll make it cheaper to produce, which lowers the cost of the motor itself and also makes parts more easily available. and that motor is in more then just the CLK. mercedes will always have percieved higher-quality then a chrysler. your going to see the next chrysler midsize sedans based on the previous e-class such as suspension, transmission. daimlerchrysler is smart, why you ask. well, they need quality american cars in the 20-35k range that will sell. other wise the whole company loses money and then there will be no money to spend on new product development. oh yeah, mercedes comm. van is also a freightliner and a dodge now. and the jeep liberty will now carry a daimler diesel in 2004. its all part of having a merger. it was the original intention. i'm glad. my parents have an E, and i have a dodge ram. if i want a sporty rwd car, i may not afford a benz, but a dodge sedan with a hemi and mercedes components albiet with less luxury is what i'll get.
