| My locking/unlocking System is completely whckked out!!!
'01E430, great car but fro several weeks now, the locking system on the car has taken a life of it's own. 95% of the time it'll not unlock with the fob - no, it's not the battery, then when it does decide to open the doors, only the driver's side door is opened (I programmed it to open other 3 doors on second touch), the others have to be opened manually - not with the unlock button - that doesn't work eiter - but by manually pulling on the push/pull knob on the door by the glass. Then the trunk will not open no matter what I try - it will eventually open after I have put the grocceries in the car and starting to drive away!!! The trunk has been traced to a bad trunk lock module. What is going on here???? My wife drives the car 98% of the time and she's just about ready to create hell at the dealer. I love this car but this is the kind of "small" things that make the 5 Series Bimmer look better and better!!
