HID look bulbs

I have a 00 model E320 w/the halogen lights. I replaced the H7 headlights and highbeams with the superwhite HID look lights a few months ago and they work great. Now I need to replace the loglights and the smaller driving lights that are located inside the highbeam housing area. Does anyone know where I can purchase these lights online and what the exact description of them? (ex. h6 or h3) They were replaced at the same time as the others but they keep blowing out and the company that I purchased them from has since gone out of business.

Thanks in advance.

Re: HID look bulbs

What bland did you use for your low beam? How much are they? Where'd you get it? Do they appear to be blue as well? Thanks for all the info.

Re: HID look bulbs

try www.autotoys.com. they carried all types of hid-look bulbs. i don't know what type of bulb is the small parking light in the high beam housing. the hi-beam takes h7 too. i don't know what your fog light's type is but on my e430 sport, it is h3.

Re: HID look bulbs

parking lamps take an H6 bulb. Make sure the HID bulbs are the right wattage. If they are too high this could melt the housing and wiring harness

Re: HID look bulbs

All appeared blue, don't know the brand name, that info is at home. Low beams were 'super white', at least I think they were. Bought them from a store on the south side of atl.

HID look bulbs

Atl320,
Can you give me a summary and recommendation of the brand name/type of bulbs to do a complete bulb change from Halogen to HID looking bulbs? I believe the headlights and highbeams use an H7 bulb, parking uses H6 and Fog lights are H3? Is this correct? How did you change the fog light bulbs? What brand name of bulb do you suggest? Wattage for bulbs? Thanks in advance.

Re: HID look bulbs

H7 is the headlight and high beam. I use Sylvania 'Cool Blue'. Less than $20 each.
Fog light on 'non-sport' is H1. I have not changed the fog light or the inner city light because I have not found a good product. A lot of those no-name light bulbs are over-wattage and they do go out of business.

Re: HID look bulbs

If you ever do find a good city light and fog light (white light), please let me know. I've been searching and there doesn't seem to be anything.
