2000 E320 Turn signal on side mirrors.

How do I get the turn signal on side mirrors if I have a 1997 E320.. .. Besides buying a 2000 !!!! For all you smart A%&$*# out there... <p>Later<br>D-

Go to a body shop and ask for 2000 E-class mirrors

It's not quite that simple. I doubt that a '97 model will have the necessary wiring integrated ( )

RE: 2000 E320 Turn signal on side mirrors.

Easy...but not cheap. On ebay, search for "Mercedes
signal mirrors" and you'll find them. Figure on
shelling out just under $200 for a pair of plastic
shells with LED circuitry and dangling wires. Skeleton
instructions, so come back here and browse for tips
from others who have done this (as well as on the other
big, high traffic M-B board).

Note that you're only purchasing the mirror shells.
You'll be disconnecting the OEM shells and replacing
with your signal/blinker shells and drawing power to
them.

You'll need to get these painted to match...avg $50
low, to $150 high.

Concept simple: tap into turn signal leads under
door sills. Will need to open up door panel and
probably breaking several door tabs in the process.
Cost a few dollars for a handfull of them from your
dealer - should have just in case.
