I am looking at a 2002 e320 4matic looks nice and ran good for a awhile. I took it onto the highway, going about 50 mph, hit the gas to merge
It went up slowly, did not kick into passing gear. Drove awhile, got off, went to get back on and ccar seemed to be in "limp mode". Driving back
I pressed the gas a few time and nothing changed. Shut it off, restarted and the CEL came on, tried to drive. it seemed ok for a 1/2 mile then the same thing. Went back, pulled the ObdII codes, primary P0123, pending p0300, p0306.
The seller changed the throttle positioning sensor and says it now runs fine.
My questions, Could the P0123 also cause the P0300 and P0306 codes?
How long would it take for those codes to reappear if it was from something else?
The car is 2 owner, 80k miles. 1st owner 11 yrs, 2nd the rest.
