I guess I should clarify. Is there anyway to set the numerical setting on the speedometer as home? I prefer using the digital over the analog but each time I exit the vehicle and return it resets to analog. I'm looking for a solution that would keep the numbers displayed on the speedometer with out having to redo them each time I get in the vehicle. Thank you.
Mine doesn't show that information. It cycles between Miles, Oil level, and services. Does the vehicle have to moving at certain speed for it to show the MPH information?

There is different land coding which defines some of the display options, for example fuel remain in tank as a litres is not shown in all cars. Those options can be set via star diagnose.
My 2002 e430 W210 will display MPH in digital format (instructions from manual above). The problem is that we have been unable to set it as the default readout. The menu must be used to display it each time the car is restarted.
