So today I got my 400lb neighbor to sit on the back of my wagon while it was running--it went down but didn't rise back up. I assume this means the self-leveling system is not working?
The wagon does ride a bit rough in the rear and makes a small clunk when going over bumps.
I did look at the hydraulic fluid when it was running, and there were no bubbles, so I think this means the accumulators are ok there are also no visible leaks and the fluid level is fine.
I do know the subframe bushings are bad.
Right now I would like to not put a lot of money into the car. Can I just replace the subframe bushings, and any other bushings that are bad? Is the rest difficult and expensive to fix? Would I be better off converting to a conventional setup?
