ACC Skid Control: ASR error! Car Stalls!

I have a 1999 E320 with 129,000 miles. Recently, the car has been getting an ACC Skid Control and ASR error when i take hard turns and go over bumpy roads. The orange triangle would also light up. Sometimes the Car will completely stall. I have to put it back in P and turn it on again.

Also, windows would not roll up or down when this happens.

Last week the Car Stalled in a parking lot. I put in P and try to turn the Key but the key wouldn't turn. It locked up. I could pull it out, just won't turn.

Eventually I Popped the back seat and saw the negative (i think) terminal was loose. I tightened it down and everything worked again. That was about 4 days ago and I haven't had any errors pop up or any stalling since.

Could those errors be from the loose battery terminal or does that have nothing to do with it? Thanks!

Yes, it very likely could. You are lucky if this was the only problem that occurred.

Yes the ASR reading could pop up, if the battery terminal is loose, it has happened to me.

Also, define "loose", was there enough play for it to obviously have moved around while you were driving?

Theres the two terminals positive, and negative that are physically attached to the battery. There also is a ground terminal, this is located near the lower part of the seat, below the cushion, where the passengers heel would be. This usually is what is used when disconnecting the battery, because it has easier access.
