I wanna ask about parts of side mirror hinge frame.
Every time hinge got broke when shock add to w210 mirror.

I just want to find only hinge frame.

Do you have any information which can I buy it ?
Or do you know the parts No. of it?

I think this is a whole part, hinge and motor etc...
Did you try a car breaker?

I'd try to find in Yahoo auction but every time it's only whole mirror.

Does anyone have parts list or something of mirror?
I could not find in EPC.

 

If you can't

locate it in the epc a stop at the dealer in your area and ask the friendly parts guy to locate the part and give you the number then shop it on the net or find one in a mb wrecking yard per above.

 

Dorr mirror repair

First, This thread just saved me a couple of hundred bucks, Thanks

I used these instructions to open up my drivers side mirror and found that mine was broken at the other end of the spring where it attached to a long cone shaped are that juts out from the door. (SORRY, I did not take pictures.)

The problem was that the loop where the spring hooks on was simply broken. I drilled a small hole about 3/4 inch behind the original mounting point and put in a teflon tube as a bushing. I then made a loop of doubled stainless wire and attached the spring to that loop. All fixed up. I wish I had taken pix, but it's simple once you get the cover off of the mirror.

Cheap replacement mirror was about $125 and the original from MB was around $400 , once again this forum membership pays for itself!~!!
