bank 2 is the port side. see http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w163...ing-order.html
cylinder 1 is always bank 1.
if your car is near 100k miles or beyond, replace both sides anyway.

Welcome aboard. Please click user cp and add your vehicle and location to your profile, it's helpful information.

If you look at thhe DIY I did on opening the hood further and locating the CPS, you'll find a picture of the bank 2 position 1 sensor. Driver's side, just after the cat.

Use the Bosch parts finder to get the correct part number; that's important as vendor online catalogs are not 100%. Then go to autohausaz, com and search for the PN. Free shipping, too (it's a popular site here and my personal favorite). Order the socket while you are there, too.

If you're around or over 100K just rplace them all, or do the fronts now and the rears in a few months.

Good luck!

I heard that if the MB was built in China, the numeric order will be the other way as they read from right to left while we read from left to right. Can anyone confirm that?
