Unhappy PLS HELP! HID install for fog lamp 01 e320

Hi guys,
I'm sorry for making such a stupid thread. But I've searched all over the forums to find a DIY hid install for the fog lamps. I tried to install an hid kit on my fog lamps yesterday and there seem to be no way of working it. The positive and negative wire goes into one connector. I've tried pulling out the negative wire to plug it into the hid kit but still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A.

Don't do it.
B.the halogen engineered reflector is no good with hid bulbs.
C.Fog lights are not driving lights.
D.You may fry the already poorly designed fog harness.
E.You will trigger lamp malfunction error.
F.Why?

Its doable for sure. Must be done right though. You dont want to burn anything or even the whole car. I would need to know a little more about the exact problem youre having though. As long as you find room to put the ballast in the bumper somewhere that wont get wet and you can seal the fog lamps correctly you should be good. Did your HID kit come with a wiring diagram? Split the positive and negative cables from the factory harness. Then connect them to the corresponding wires on the new HID kit.

Good Luck. Show us how it turns out!

Oh and welcome to the forum.

Feel free to get involved and create a profile. And even though Grandpa Ohlord was mean to you, he means well

You know Ohlord now that the W210 chassis is getting a bit older, I'm all for a little extreme customization now and then. You never know what people can come up with given the technology these days.

That is with exception to that NASTY low rider airbag Tijuana spinner rims crap!
