Well F*** my life, my ac is out just like half the people on this board. For some time, just the passenger side was cold and the drivers side was hot, recently both sides have been hot. Now both sides are the same temp and i have no idea what the problem is. I had one DTC code for the outside temp sensor, but i fixed the problem so no more code. So i gathered my sensor value codes and i need someone to help me diagnose my problem.

Thats all i wrote down, i dont know if you wanted them all, but #1 is suppose to be the inside cabin temp, i dont know if thats suppose to be in celsius or F but it seemed kinda low?? The ac compressor does engage and i do not have any EC light on. From what ive read #7 is the freon level and mine seems LOW. Does anyone know what the normal freon level SHOULD be?
Ive read through most of these and i still dont have a conclusion, but thanks for trying. If the system was low on freon, then why doesnt the EC light up? Ive cleaned the duovalves and they slide freely. Like i said before, the compressor clutch engages, but both the passenger side and drivers side are hot air.
I don't know Flemming Island but buddy you need a recharge to start things off.. a shop recharge will also pull the old refridgerant and junk out of the system.
Mechanic says ac compressor is working but its not??
Ive been having a ac problem for a few weeks now and i need some advice. I took the car in to have the system recharged, but the mechanic says the compressor is working but its not. The compressor engages when its turned on, but he says its not compressing. Is this possible??
Check if EC (economy mode) is turned on. When I got my Merc the EC mode had been turned on and so the compressor would turn off, but I couldn't get the EC to disable so my uncle did it manually through the glovebox (not sure what exactly he did)
