Tool/key to pull out radio unit from central dashboard console.
Has anyone before bought the key or tool, whatever word term is appropriate for it, from dealership?
I'm intending to replace the orig. Benz unit with some up to date unit, aftermarket.
Improvised key I used to pop out the unit did not work.
I'm guessing I need exact key from dealership.
i have both (made myself, as well as manuf'd). they're so inexpensive it
really doesn't make sense to shop from Ebay instead of dealer. either way, it'll
end up being $5-10
$10 might not sound expensive when comparing to the price of new car, but is humongous amount of money for 2 miniature blades.
Harbor Freight have whole sets of keys for less than stealer wants for 2 pieces.

A standard hacksaw blade is exactly the right size simply break it in half and shape it roughly as per the keys in the pic, I have done this many times before and it is so easy. You do not need the holes in the pictured keys just the taper and your in.
