Dear MB folks,
I hope you are all well. I hope that my thread's title doesn't take me the the "Expansive parts area of MB". I really like my E320, but paying too much money is really pain in the "....". SO, help me, the ABS system is not working, also the ASR. That's what I discovered recently. The BAS error sometime appears but when I do the lock-to-lock trick it goes off. However, sometime later it appears when I start the car. So my friends, Where to start this time!!

Were I you, I would actually start by replacing the Brake Light Switch (under the dash). Buy the part at the dealer, some aftermarket ones are flaky. It's cheap, about US$25. The switch gathers data for several functions, including BAS, as well as triggering the brake lights when you depress the pedal, and some functions can work and not others when it fails.
