Three weeks ago I replaced Outer CV Boots on W203 C240 4-Matic. I didn't make a pictures because this is VERY messy job. Simple didn't want to get dirty a camera.
I found little different way how to remove CV Joint from the axle. I guess that whis way is more accurate then knock it off by hummer. I pushed it by old bolt (M16x1.5mm). the Bolt is short and cannot reach axle by itself. I put bolt extension to the hole and just screw the bolt in the hole until CV Joint is popped up.
After that you can easily remove balls, cage and clean everything inside of the CV Joint. Don't forget to mark cage and CV joint before then you start disassembling. When you'll clean all parts use these marks for assembling CV Join in same position.

Good Luck!
