trunk fuse? (locked keys in trunk)

SOLVED: READ LAST POST
I have searched the forum for hours. Can't find an answer to this:

Locked my keys in the trunk while the rest of the car was locked.
Used some tools I have from work (I am a mechanic) and got into the car. at that point the alarm obviously started going nuts. and since the factory alarm is enabled the trunk will not open from the switch on the dash. i have read that if you disconnect the battery and apply 12 volts to the trunk fuse while holding the trunk release button it will open. unfortunately i can not find the trunk fuse. the fuse diagrams in the car show several fuses for the central locking but none specifically says trunk. so at the end of this whole thing.. where is the trunk fuse?

what year and made is your car? the sticky has the fuse diagram for a particular model of W210.

Another way may work: off the battery, off the alarm fuses under the rear seat, reconnect battery, try to open with the button. No guarantee though. You must have your radio code ready before disconnecting the battery. the instructions on resetting the windows, sunroof, ESP, etc are in the sticky, or in your manual as well. Good luck

figured it out!!!!

if you ever lock your keys in the trunk:
1. use a rubber wedge to pry back the b pillar of your front door. (i like to use the passenger door, then if anything breaks your driver door works fine) if your feeling fearless about your paint, use the back of a hammer used to get nails out, to pry the b pillar back. (do this gently as you do not want to damage anything)
2. use a coat hanger to lift up on the lock mechanism on the door. (i used an actual tool made for this, but a coat hanger should work fine) this will get you into the car. beware: the alarm will go nuts
3. remove the rear seat. there are levers on each side of the rear seat. pull up on them and it should pop off.
4. disconnect the battery.
5. have someone hold the trunk switch up and reconnect the battery while they are holding the switch
6. your in the trunk

(prior to unplugging the battery i did apply power to each central locking fuse and remote trunk fuse. didnt do anything and i dont think it effects the procedure. but if the above procedure doesnt work. after step 3, take a speaker wire and touch one side to the positive terminal on the battery and apply power to each remote trunk fuse and each central locking fuse. then do steps 4-6.)

This is why I always make sure to unlock at least the drivers door before even opening the trunk... I am scared to death to lock that key in the trunk. lol

Okay just locked my Keys in the trunk this morning and once again thx to this forum/members it saved my ass again! Awesome I thought I was screwed with no spare key but I was in my car and popped the trunk in 5min (Alarm only cycled once). My girlfriend thought I was a seasoned car thief, thats how fast it was. Now on to the sticky on how to re-program after battery disconnect. Thanks guys!

Thankful for Benzworld!

I have suggested this before, and two people had sucess, if you can get to the PSE lock unlock pump under the rear seat put presuure on the line and it should trip the diaphram. The lock/unlock lines are yellow and a bike pump should do it, pressure to unlock vacuum to lock, use very little pressure.

Thanks also for letting the casual thief know how to disable the alarm and empty your car's contents, including the trunk.
