Need to do a spark plug change. Will use the NGK 7090. They are NOT pre-gapped. I have been informed that there is a typo-misprint in the 1998 E-320 Owners manual. Anybody out there know the correct Gap for this plug?
Thanks, Jak W210 3.2:
are pre gapped out of the box at .039 that is the proper gap.
don't play with the gap on platinum plugs.Use no anti seize.
Make sure you reverse your 17mm boot tool to pop the boots back on securely when installing the boots back onto the new plugs.

Thanks for your help. Easy R/R. Auto parts place tried to convince me I could gap a platinum plug? No need all checked out at .039. Easy DIY.
Could you give me any advice on my tranny leaking from the wierd little bellow type thing called the AT sift linkage? The leak is not electrical connector, not pan gasket, not overfill, it's comming from the rubber linkage.
My what a nightmare . Have recently posted on this issue.
Thanks again.
