Yesterday, I unfolded the 3rd row in my wife's "new" 98 wagon and found about 1" of water in the footwell. I haven't had time to diagnose (sit in the back and have someone douse the back with a hose, for ex.), but I wondered if anyone has had this prob and what they found as the cause.
I find it perplexing as there's no visible signs of where the water could have entered.
TIA,
Chris

The drains for blockage and rust around the seams.Don't remember the routing of the sun roof drains but something is blocked and not draining properly.Check you battery box also for water.

hi there, i'm not a 210 owner but your symptom maybe similar to mine.
i went to a touchless car wash and noticed afterwards that the back was wet.
it turns out that there was corrosion along the inside seams of the windows of the rear quarter panels.
i went to the body shop and they mentioned that it's a common experience.
probably poor sealing allowing moisture and salt in.

Thanks for the insight; you're answer sounds probable. I'll check this weekend and report back to the group.
