Cell phone chargers won't stay plugged into lighter!

I have several car chargers and none of them will stay plugged into my 99 E300's cigarette lighter. Is there some kind of plastic sleeve or adapter that will allow me to obtain a more snug fit? Thanks!

I am using the plug for radar detector, laptop (via inverter) and some other stuff as well. The poorly design plugs with spring not holding the unit in the hole are too common. What works for me the best (but still not bulletproof) is the splitter with wire extension. I insert light weight plug into the car outlet and on few inches of wire there hangs 4-holes splitter, that does not put weight on the car outlet.
Than some plugs come with securing ring that helps, but will still bounce off on California roads.
What oil you but into your Bluetec? I just spend over an hour trying to get approved oil for my 320cdi. Posted question in W211 section, but not much traffic there.

Yeah, I guess that I am looking for that 'securing ring'. The iPhone chargers appear to be longer and thinner than most other radar detector & cell charger plugs.

I remember some years ago Motorola chargers came with a little sleeve, it seems that MB and some european lighters are larger. They stopped when some of the sleeves got stuck (probably saved money by not supplying them)
The sleeve had a notch in the side so the negative contact stuck out
