does anyone know where i can find the chrome smart key for my '00 e430? i searched the forum but the website oempartsdirect dot com directs me to a general auto parts site. the chrome ones look better IMHO
won't do it anymore,giving a vin to a 3rd party supplier was probably landing them in hot water.You need to take the car,paper work,proof of ownership,vin# and your first born child to a mb dealer,shop several,one member just got his for 165 and that is about the best deal since the guys that were doing it illegally figured out they were charging to little for the nice key,and raised their prices.
in Dallas on July 16th. Took one day. They never saw the car. License and registration only.They handed me the key and I walked out to the car and every thing worked fine. The chrome key was $161.70. The flat keys were $4.94 each. She even gave me 2 very nice key fobs. Total with tax was $185.74. And it is real nice.
