I use 91 and when I can find it 93. I don't care what it costs. The last thing I want to do is break something on this car by not being careful. Like when I accidentally scratched it with a paint can in my garage. Still trying to buff that out.

Where are you farghenbenzer? 93 is by far the most common premium here, and I can occasionally find 92 but that typically contains ethanol so I won't use it.

Long Island, New York. Hess is near me and carries 91. Sunoco has 93, but not convenient to get to. The other stations, not sure. I just push premium without really reading it.
I don't take the car on long trips, 2 babies, double stroller, toys, wife, etc.
Gets a little cramped. I have a Honda Pilot for that.
Thanks for the tips Musikmann. I didn't notice any pinging or a significant loss of power driving on the regular stuff, but only drove a few miles at low speeds so we will see what happens on the freeway at 60mph tomorrow. RKH I am in Oregon, where you are not allowed to pump your own gas. Supposedly, this is a way to stimulate the state's economy by creating jobs...the only problem is, most of the people who get these jobs are underqualified to work at a fast-food joint, so you end up getting regular when you ask for premium! Actually this is the only time they have made this mistake for me so far, but I will definitely need to keep a closer eye on them when they start to fill up my Benz.

You're welcome. The car will compensate for the lower octane to a point. It's just highly unadvisable, as I think you know, to feed the Benz a steady diet of it. Thanks for completing your profile and good luck.
