I have decided not to keep my 1998 E320. Sad as it is, I opted to buy a 1994 Q45T instead and wont be keeping the E. I am gonna have it towed in a couple of weeks. I am not parting the car out because I don't have time nor the know how. What I do have is the stock Bose system. All speakers Head unit and CD changer. I wanted to know if these are even worth the time of taking out the car. Or should I just leave it to be junked in the yard?

I'm sure you'll be sorry to see it go and I wish you luck with the Q.
So long as you have the radio code the head unit and changer have a bit of value, after all they were used a long time across several MB model lines. They're easy enough to remove (at least if you have the keys for the head unit) so were I you I would probably do that. Heck, I'd take 60 seconds and pull the MAF assembly as well and post it for sale, as often as those puke you'd probably get $50 or something for it.
Good luck, man.
Take care and, as always, enjoy the ride,
Greg

Hi SBD,
I must have missed your thread about the E320. What is the subject line of your thread where you told us it was ready for a tow to the junkyard? I'd like to read it. Good luck with the Q45T and I hope we will still see you around.

Thanks guys, I tried to hold on to it for a while now, and when I had the money to fix it, the Q45T came up and I figured it would be better to invest in a running car. I like the Q allot but I do miss the E. Its sad looking at it in its condition and with the value of the E and every other car declining I decided to move it out my parking space so I can park the Q. I won't be going anywhere. I have this thread bookmarked and plan on being a Benz owner again some day.
The sad part is before the accident I just purchased an alternator so the alternator was a week old when I crashed. I as much as I want to pull parts that are good I need the car to run because I have to drive it out the garage. A tow truck won't fit. I have the code for the head unit so thats good. I will pull the speakers and such this weekend. How much do you guys think I should ask for? All the speakers and changer work fine. I wont say perfectly seeing as its been almost a year since she's been powered up.
I will do my best to take detailed pics of all the speakers head unit and changer, serial numbers and such so as its easy. I hope some one can put use to them.

Thanks ohlord, I will consider doing that. I did see a damaged E320 go for $2,000 so who knows. I may start out with just the system seeing as I started taking it apart already a couple of months ago.
As far as I know you can get four digits profit from car lights alone. When I was junking my old Volvo, I went to the junk yard that refused to take it (the car was still running fine, but I had it on the trailer)
During the time I was checking out who would take the car, a guy on parking lot offered me $150 for the hood.
