i just recently took apart the fuel pump to replace the washers and the seals to get rid of fuel leak, put it back together torqued it to 32Nm, started it up drove around for a while and its still shaking pretty roughly, any suggestions?
You want to find a sulution for the problem without giving details?
Was the fuel dripping while the engine was running, or did you had air bubbles in lines?
It is obvious that you did something wrong to your car.
Don't ask me to pull the info from you.
the fuel was dripping i didn't see any bubles, went to replace the filter and the clear fuel lines/tubes theres like 6 of them put it together still leaking then i read up on the pump so i went and replaced the washers and seals put it together and its shaking no leaks thou
If the fuel was dripping, that would point to leaky oring on shut off valve, not the 7 clear tubings that to my believe with one exception work with vacuum.
Do you see air bubbles in the lines now?
I only hope you didn't push the dirt to the injectors.
i changed the shut off valve, after the tubes, it was leaking all over, when i did the washers i cleaned and wiped so im pretty sure no dirt got in there, at least i hope so, i was planing on changing injectors anyhow since i've been having a few problems with them in the winter. i just came back from about a 20mi drive speeds about 45-60, the water temp rose up to 95 and when i parked it there was steam comming from under the car around the area of the cat
Whole injectors are pretty costly. I found a dealer on ebay, that sold me tips for less than $25 a piece. In the mean time you can use infrared thermometer to find colder cylinder that is not working.
Good luck.
