5th Place?

Car and Driver ranked our car 5th in this comparison test. But I see more E classes driving around than any of the others. It would be interesting to do the test today after some miles have been put on the vehicles.

I probably see more C-Class than E-Class, and more of either than S-Class. I'm with you that it would be interesting to see how the ratings might have changed since these cars were new in 2001.

I definitely see more E and S class MB's and in 2nd would be C class *newer ones and SL. Where I live you see more German cars then Japanese cars. On my way home today there was a MB in front of me, bimmer in back and on the side of me 2 MB Suv's and a few bimmers. One Lexus. The further north you go then you see more Japanese cars or trucks *north meaning North OC.

MB as a design center in So Cal because we are a big market for them as well as the Bay area.

Must be nice to see more German cars than Japanese where you are Debbi. We see a lot of pickup trucks of all makes (it's West Virginia after all). If I had to guess, we see more Japanese cars/trucks and American everything than we do German anything.
