Saturday night my Wife left the headlights on.
She blamed it on me "i told u to make sure they went off"
I was drinkin Bourbon since 11:00 - Blind drunk , i wash my hands.
so found the shift lock, pushed out of garage, and JUMPED.
Now like magic my Temperature display works perfectly, I wish the Clock fixed itself as well.
when i get a chance have plans to pull cluster and secure display contacts.

I own and have owned at least 2 older cars, and with both, when the ignition was switched off so were the headlights. One was a 1976 Porsche 911 and the other my 1991 Toyota Camry. I wish Mercedes would adopt this helpful feature.
