At a couple of the local stations, they sell three flavors of gas: no-lead with 87 octane, mid with 90 octane, and plus with 92 octane. The kicker is that the 92 octane is a gas that is nonoxygenated -- I believe that means no ethanol. The sticker on the pump says this gas is restricted to use in off road vehicles, antiques, small engines and racing engines.
Is there any reason not to use this? Is the 90 octane stuff considered premium fuel?
Regards,
Boris

of your state is above 600 ft elevation and averages over 1200 ft the higher you go the less dense the air so 90 octane is fine for your car.92 would not be considered Racing fuel that is usually around 103 for high high compression engines like 12.5:1 and up.
Where you live your cars H.P. is about 5% less then people living at sea level,92 would lead to no improvement in power and just be a waste of money.
