Arrow DIY/TIPS - Suggestions for the DIY sticky threads

This is an open thread for your suggestions for modifications to the DIY sticky threads in the W210 forum.

Don't post here asking where to find a particular DIY article.
Don't post general help questions in this thread.
Don't simply put the DIY article within this thread.
Don't otherwise take this thread off-topic. Off-topic posts will be deleted.

Do post a follow-up in this thread, containing a LINK to the thread which contains what you feel to be a good DIY article. You may nominate your own thread. Do post your comments to links posted by others.

When posting comments about the content of the DIY thread in question, please say if you have performed the procedure. If you think what we already have linked is better and the new thread adds nothing, say so. Other critiques, such as style, are also appropriate and the originator of the thread may want to go back and make modifications.

We need YOUR input to get the best possible material included in these pages.

Once a discussion has run its course, expect to see the link added to the DIY thread (or not) and the discussion deleted to keep the thread from growing.

I can't post the link because I am on a smartphone, but to go first I nominate FUEL SENDER FIX by mpr2007.

Three nominations -

One by you yourself....

One by G-AMG...

Photo DIY- V-Belt Tensioning Pully Replacement

http://www.*****************/disc/fo...posts=2#M75338

And the third for newer tensioner by fourbyfourclub....

http://www.*****************/disc/fo...sts=24&start=1

I know both you & G-AMG are members here so I imagine the decision to be yours to post but I dont know about fourbyfourclub's. Definitely great DIY's all around. I'm about to do both this weekend!

Yea, that one should be in there.

One day soon, I'll add the suggestions here to the DIY posts. But even until then, please keep them coming.

It might take some carving out to create a clean post, but MRBSMITH's job on replacing the pad sensor for the SRS light is quite worthy of inclusion:

One of these days, I'll add the above. How about this one? There's a single post elsewhere too that we could find.

Changing the transmission adaptation from Nugent, written by G-AMG
