Hey everyone - I have been searching on this topic for the last hour and have not seen the answer so I hope someone can help me out.

Error code - 232
A/C was getting weak so I put a can of 134 in this morning - compressor was turning fine. When I restared the compressor is not engaging. From what I have been reading, the 232 code is probably holding it up the the DYI site said to try and override this but does not explain how.
Any help is appreciated - I am in Florida - think HOT! Thanks.
Correct.. locked out. I am thinking I over pressurized it somehow. Again, according to the DYI diagnostics...
Code B1232 Explanation: This sensor measures the pressure of the refrigerant in the A/C system. It appears to be malfunctioning. If this sensor is defective, you may be able to turn your A/C back on by overriding it.
I would like to try this before taking it in for service. Does anyone have the process for doing this. Thanks again.
There is a redundant check for low refrigerant fill, which is indicated by the 16's bit in the P2 version code. This is probably what that statement is trying to say. However, this does not cause the unit to completely ignore the pressure sensor reading. That sensor is critical to the proper operation of your AC system. The fact that yours reads "E" tells me that there is no way to make it work until that is resolved.
What do you see for a static pressure (compressor off, system stabilized)?
Eureka.... static pressure on the low side was too high (thanks for your idea). Relieved some of the pressure and the compressor kicked back in. Cleared the error codes and all new readings in the normal range - including #7. Thanks for this board - I am sure it saved me a bundle at the stealership. -Dano
