Transmission upgrade re: shifting

I read a post some time ago on either this site or MBWorld about an electronic/software upgrade for the W210s that improved shifting from 2-3 and 2-1 (maybe a TSB). I have scoured both sites and cannot find it again. Could someone please clue me in the right direction or did I just dream this.

Thanks

EBenz

have you changed the filter and fluid in the trans?
I still have more of the special dipsticks you need for $40 delivered.

The 722.6x transmission is your car is known as "driver adaptive". Follow Ohlord's advice and re-set it to factory specs. In 100-200 miles it will shift according to your driving habits. If it is still rough, have the transmission serviced using MB spec ATF and a new filter. If you are lucky, your '99 will have a drain for the torque converter (better tranny service possible).
