Squeaky back suspension on E240

I have a year 2000 E240 and she has developed a squeaking sound that is coming from the back suspension that is turning heads in my town! My back street mechanic said that he spent 30 minutes trying to track it down unsuccessfully. He mentioned something about 'bushes'?

Any ideas guys? How much do you think it will cost to rectify the problem?

Just replace the shocks plus all rubber seats in there. that should fix the problem. My car has the same issue.
