Rearview mirror removal? - Benzworld.org

I'm sending my rearview mirror out to get the V1 display etched in it. I searched the site and it appears the rearview just pulls straight down with a lot of force. There was a link to an edsoto video on how to remove it but the link is dead.

Can anyone here post that video or offer some more advice on rearview removal. I'm sure its not too complicated but it is an expensive part and it would suck to mess it up.

It's easier to pull down on one side to get it to unclip. It does take some force.

edsoto disappeared a couple of yrs ago. someone else is hosting same CD
