how to reset the service light "service exceeded 510 days"

i searched on the forums and found these steps: press "0" twice when the service shows up, turn off the key, hold the "0" and turn to 2nd position but dont turn on the car, wait for the beep.
i have tried serval times, but still shows "service exceeded 510 days"
