Oh my God, the car is perfect now. Get your shocks replaced guys! Absolutely no suspension noise whatsoever, glides over bumps in the road, recessed manhole covers etc with perfect shock rebounding ease... It feels like a new car. I cant stop saying Wow. 2 new front bilstein shocks made a night and day difference. It feels like it's sitting maybe 1/2" higher too, like maybe the shock was sagging before? Or the rubber mounts around the shock had eroded away. Anyway I wish I could have done it myself and saved $400 on labor, but I dont have a garage, let alone those MB specific tools, nor the know-how even. It's a daily driver too and my only car, so I can't exactly make a DIY experiment learning experience out of it.
