I've just had a trip Dallas - San Antonio - Houston - Galveston - Houston - Dallas with 1051 miles including 100+/- miles city driving.
The car runs great for its 12 years of age. I can't complain about the fuel economy at all. Total gas comsumption was 40 gallons, thus a gas mileage of 26 mpg.
Before the trip I wanted to replace the spark plugs, cables and ingnition coils, hoping for better gas mileage but did not manage. Now I think it cannot be improved much. The gas mileage I am having is even specified for new cars of that model year.
One thing is to be mentioned though; a few days before I added cerma liquid ceramic Cerma Organic to engine oil and noticed smoother idle. Maybe there was some benefits from that product. I'd like to hear your opinion about that too, before using it for transmission, differentials and power steering.

some seafoam in the gas and leave everything else alone.
Change the fluid in that old 722.4 trans
keep fresh oil in the engine.
flush the power steering add nothing to it as an additive.
Do the plugs and connectors,no need to replace coils.
Inspect you wire harness if an early build date 96 m104 engine. ohlord
I did a tranny flush recently. Oil change was at purchase 4500 miles ago, I checked the oil after the trip and it is still clear like honey from the dip stick.
Wire harness seems to be OK. Power steering flush will be due next.
All in all I think I might win the contest of the oldest W210 E320 until next CEL.

since w210 started mass production in 1995, i think might be a few ones ahead of yours. there are a few members with 1995 w210s within our forum, and i would think a few more around the world.
worldwide. 1996 for US spec vehicles only. Not sure about Canadian spec though.

My build date is 11/95; I have 175K miles, original owner, car garaged it's entire life. Just replaced the original water pump earlier this week! Mechanically the car runs great, however my car has a severe case of RUST, cosmetically on every exterior panel and under the car on the frame (left perch collapsed years ago). Not sure how much longer she will survive with this cancer.
