Just completed my oil change. Boy the car sits very low and the Rhino ramps that I have do not work well.
I am now looking for an oil extractor. I know that the topsider is popular here but I am looking for a unit where you can see the amount of oil extracted.
What do you guys think of Pela?
An issue with oil extractors is the diameter of the dipstick tube. Anyone know what the diameter is off hand? How about the ATF fill tube?

I use the Topsider. I got it at a boating supply place. It works great if I drive the car for about 30 minutes just before pumping the oil out. The 1/4 inch tube fits right down the dip stick spout and gets to the bottom of the oil pan. With the oil warm, it flows right out and save you from pumping up the vacuum in the canister a lot of times. I have seen more upright suction type oil extractors but they are made out of plastic and cost more than the metal topsider.

MityVac here. I use it on hot oil without the problem. Like transparent tank, that lets me see how much oil is in it. The biggest tube (I think it is about 3/8" seals in the dipstick tube funnel allowing for clean suction without unnecessary restrictions.
