Changing Interior Lights to White

Hi,

I am new to the forum but found everyone's comments really helpful, especially with things like wheels and suspension choices.

I just have a question, has anyone out there, tried or have changed their interior lights to white. As in, the light for all the buttons on the console, dashboard etc.

I can't find any kits for it, so I figure its got to be done custom.

Any thoughts?

by changing the interior lights to white i'm assuming you mean led;s? i know if you changed any of the outside light bulbs to led will trigger the light malfunction error because led's don't use enough power which makes the car's computer think that there is a burnt bulb. but i;m not sure if it will trigger the light malfunction error if you do it for the interior lights. try it and let us know. if it does, you can also add a load resistor ($2 from radioshack) and that will take care of the light malfunction error.
