I just noticed it on the way home. I was hearing the faint, strange noise coming from the intake side upon engine bay inspection. Looked a little closer and I saw a little wetness around one of the places where the fuel rail connects with the intake manifold. I suspect an o-ring is failing and causing the high pressure to make a noise and leak a little.
I am currently running B90 in it right now with no problems. BD is good at finding weak points in the fuel system
Has anyone changed these o-rings out? I just wanted to see if someone could give me some advice. I did this procedure before with my 86 Vette and it cured the issue. I pretty much had to pull up on the fuel rail until the injectors came out, then placed the new oring on and reassembled. Is it the same procedure in a round about way? Thx
Currently shares the garage with:

86 Corvette (The Beast)
98 Honda V6 Coupe (Best car I ever owned)
93 Civic (2nd best car I ever owned)
02 Nissan Frontier (I still wish I had this...)
Isn't that a return line, right behind the pen point? There's nothing like a fuel rail there, and the return lines do run around that area. If they're weeping, it's time to replace them.
I think what he is pointing at is the crankcase ventilation tubings.
I agree that very likely you have returning hosed deteriorating and fuel shows under the cover not necessary at the point where it leaks. Get the cover off and inspect it closer.
I replaced all the ventilation connectors, since the rubber elbows solidified and were dangling loose on the fittings. Return hoses are the easy part.

Thanks for the info, are the return lines/ventalation lines one piece or do they seperate individually? So based on what you are saying there is no o-ring rather the return lines are rubber themselves?
Yeah I will take the cover off and snap another pic. Thx

They are individual pieces, and the area where you are pointing is where the rubber parts plug into the intake maniflod. They can become brittle, break, and you will start to see oil coming from that location. You will need to take the cover off, and while you are at it, I would inspect the other pieces for leaks or brittleness. The pieces are not glued in place, and should come apart easily. Good luck
I have a 99 e300. I had problems with fuel leakage( actually a suction problem and it affected the cars performance- causing it to stall.) I replaced all the fuel lines around the filter and injection pump and it solved all of my problems.
I assume that entails removing the whole intake manifold assembly? Might be something to go ahead and do anyways while I am at it...

You need to take off the cross over piece. Not a big deal. When I bought my E300D I had few things to work on under the cover, so took the cover off over a year ago and it is still on the shelf in my garage. There are Tees and elbows on the ventilation rail. If they lost the flexibility replace them all. The pieces of straight tubing should be good. Also there are 2 more fittings on the bigger oil separator deeper under the cover.
Yes it was one of the ventilation ports leaking, I took all the rubber parts off and I am going to the dealer tomorrow to buy new fittings. Hope it won't cost me my first born
